Malaysia’s Tech Ambition Amid Trump 2.0 and BRICS

Bait Al Amanah recently published an op-ed titled "Malaysia’s Tech Ambition Amid Trump 2.0 and BRICS", authored by E Kin Zane Ryan Seow and Fikry A. Rahman.

This op-ed outlines the challenges and opportunities for Malaysia to progress its tech ambitions amidst Trump 2.0, where Zane and Fikry emphasises the importance of constant negotiations and market diversification.

In addition to these efforts, the authors suggests leveraging Malaysia’s partnership with BRICS to advance its tech ambitions, vis-a-vis maintaining ASEAN cohesion as the ASEAN Chair to maintain the region as a bastion of non-alignment.

Constant dialogue, diversification, and reinvigorating ASEAN cohesion and centrality remain the key elements to progress Malaysia’s tech ambitions amidst geopolitical uncertainty.
