Dr Abdul Razak Ahmad Chairs the 16th Meeting of ASEAN-IPR Advisory Board in Jakarta, Indonesia

Last month, our Founding Director, Dr. Abdul Razak Ahmad, was invited to helm the 16th Meeting of the ASEAN Institute for Peace and Reconciliation (ASEAN-IPR) Advisory Board in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Dr. Abdul Razak has been entrusted with Chairing this year’s Advisory Board Member in tandem with Malaysia’s 2025 ASEAN Chairmanship.
The formal meeting was held at the ASEAN Secretariat Headquarters, with delegates present from all throughout ASEAN – including from the observer state of Timor-Leste.
ASEAN-IPR currently functions as the official think tank for ASEAN, working on various research initiatives concerning conflict resolution and peace development within the region.
Dr. Abdul Razak was accompanied by members of our team from Bait Al Amanah, Ms. Nabiela Ismail and Ms. Dania Kamal Aryf.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Rifat Fachir and his colleagues from ASEAN-IPR who have been instrumental in facilitating our ongoing efforts.
We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity to collaborate with ASEAN-IPR, and look forward to continuing working alongside the organisation for more fruitful outcomes in the future.

Forging & Fostering Peace | The ASEAN Institute for Peace and Reconciliation (ASEAN-IPR) was launched on 18 November 2012 by the ASEAN Leaders, on the sidelines of the 21st ASEAN Summit in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
